What’s New Across the Apryse Product Family
Scanbot
The Scanbot Fall 2026 release improves real-world capture reliability with Barcode Reconstruction for damaged barcodes, Document Cleanup for removing scan artifacts, and landscape support for Android large-screen devices, helping developers reduce capture failures and manual intervention.
iText
iText Suite 9.8 introduces vertical text layout and CJK writing modes and simplifies transformations and rotation. There’s also improved SVG support, better footnote and margin handling, and more!
Accusoft
PrizmDoc v14.9 introduces Apryse SDK integration for higher-fidelity Microsoft Office rendering and a new Inverse Redaction feature that lets you preserve specific page regions while automatically redacting the rest. The release also includes important security updates and additional stability improvements.
PrizmDoc for Java version 5.21.10 and RasterMaster version 20.21.10 contain security updates and bug fixes.

Fluent
This release introduces Live Preview Output in Designer, making template development faster and more intuitive. It also adds unsupported formatting warnings upfront, Designer performance improvements, enhancements to data handling and APIs, and a broad range of bug fixes across document generation, templates, and platform stability.

LEADTOOLS
This summer 2026 release brings faster performance and cleaner results across the board. SheetEditor handles large spreadsheets more smoothly, tables render more accurately in RTF, DOC, and DOCX files, and barcode and OMR recognition are more accurate and flexible. Annotation tools also expand with round rectangle support and improved sticky note and freehand selection on macOS and iOS. Together, these updates make document editing, recognition, and markup faster, more reliable, and more consistent across platforms.
