SOLID Framework Highlights

Solid Framework 10.0.20290 Release Highlights

Improved Non-Latin Language Support: Language detection, page orientation detection, and OCR character recognition have all been enhanced for non-Latin languages. To take advantage of these improvements, update your required files using the traineddata.zip package, available from Solid Framework downloads.

DOCX Conversion Accuracy: This release brings a broad set of improvements to Word output quality, including better bullet detection, more accurate recovery of incorrectly encoded symbols and ligatures, improved detection of non-orthogonal table border segments, better cell detection in hybrid tables, and improved recognition of certain Japanese characters. Documents can also now be checked for Microsoft Sensitivity Information Protection (MSIP) labels during conversion.

JSON and Office Performance: JSON output now supports superscript and subscript elements, and documents containing large numbers of graphics convert faster thanks to improved processing time across Office formats.

Stability and Bug Fixes: Alongside these improvements, this release resolves several bugs affecting output accuracy, including fixes for misdetected and duplicated characters, glyphs incorrectly rasterized as images instead of preserved as text, single-line text detection in PPTX files, incorrect footer line spacing, and a text box boundary issue that was clipping page numbers.

Additional Improvements: Together, these updates make document conversion and recognition more accurate, more consistent, and more reliable across DOCX, PPTX, and JSON output.
