Highlighting and Commenting Extend to More Editors
DOCX Editor supports the same highlight tool built for WebViewer, and Spreadsheet Editor adds threaded comments.
Faster Editing Across the Web SDK
WebViewer’s Content Edit runs 89% faster, while DOCX Editor’s search and replace improves on long documents, bringing them in line with the speed and reliability expected across the rest of the Web SDK.
Markdown Output for Smart Data Extraction
Smart Data Extraction adds Markdown as an output option, producing AI pipeline-ready data built on Apryse's document-structure intelligence. With Markdown, meaningful hierarchy and context are preserved rather than flattened into plain text, giving data pipelines higher-quality input for ingestion and retrieval.
New Document Creation API for Server SDK
A high-level Document Creation API lets developers build multi-page, enterprise-ready PDFs directly from code, including hyperlinks, page numbering, headers and footers, images, shapes, floating elements, and charts, without coordinate-level drawing code.
AEC Workflow Enhancements
WebViewer extends stamp APIs with image and vector support. New stamp management replaces a single long list with a way to organize and find stamps as libraries grow.
Barcode Scanner SDK Improvements
When a barcode is scuffed, torn, or drawn over, Barcode Reconstruction reads what's intact and rebuilds the rest, recovering scans that would otherwise fail and require manual entry or a rescan.
Document Cleanup for Document Scanner SDK
A manual editing tool that lets users remove fingers, marks, hole punches, and other non-text artifacts from a scanned document, producing cleaner digital copies that more closely resemble the original.
Landscape Orientation Support
To comply with Android 17, this release adds support for landscape and large-screen capture flows on tablets, kiosks, unfolded foldables, and ChromeOS.
