We are happy to announce the latest release of PDFTron's iOS SDK, which includes refreshed PDF components, data-saving PDF streaming, improved bookmark handling, and more.

PDFTron's UI components have been updated with a fresh new look:

Changes include much improved visuals, re-positioning the buttons to open the thumbnails and annotation/outline/bookmarks to next to the page slider, plus new subtle animations.

In this new version of the SDK, user bookmarks are saved directly into the PDF. This means that PDFs that are sent and shared between different versions of PDFTron, on different devices and platforms, will have their bookmarks preserved.
