Document Editing & Rendering
- Work with large spreadsheets without the lag. SheetEditor now handles large files with noticeably smoother, faster performance.
- Tables render more accurately in RTF, DOC, and DOCX files. Complex table layouts now display with greater fidelity, reducing formatting surprises when converting or viewing documents.
- Correct bullet display in WordPad-created RTF files. Bullet rendering has been refined so RTF documents created or edited in WordPad display with better visual accuracy.
Recognition
- Export barcodes as scalable SVG graphics. Generate crisp, resolution-independent barcode images for print, packaging, or any use case where quality can't degrade with scaling.
- More reliable 1D barcode detection after resizing. Four-point detection accuracy has improved when using ResizeSmall with 1D barcodes, reducing misreads in space-constrained layouts.
- Stronger OMR recognition on Linux. Optical Mark Recognition now delivers more consistent, reliable results in Linux environments.
Annotations
- New round rectangle annotation type. Add rounded-corner shapes to your markup toolkit for more flexible, polished-looking annotations.
- Sticky notes now supported on macOS and iOS. AnnStickyNoteType is now available on Apple platforms, bringing annotation parity across more devices.
- Freehand annotations added for macOS and iOS. Freehand markup can now be selected directly on Apple platforms, closing a usability gap for annotation workflows.
