What immediately stood out to me about Apryse was the opportunity to work on a truly developer-ready product. As someone who enjoys understanding how things are built and how they work, the idea of working with SDKs that serve as foundational building blocks for thousands of applications was compelling. That focus on performance, reliability, and extensibility really resonated with me.

I would describe the culture at Apryse as relaxed but highly focused. There’s a strong sense of ownership across teams, and people are trusted to execute. It’s collaborative without being overly rigid, you can have open discussions, challenge ideas constructively, and move quickly. Everyone is aligned on delivering quality solutions, but there’s also respect for work-life balance and individual working styles.

My favorite core value at Apryse is Quality First. In the document technology space, quality isn’t optional, it’s critical. Our customers rely on us for accuracy, performance, and security in high-stakes environments like legal, healthcare, and finance. Knowing that the organization prioritizes building things properly, not just quickly, reinforces confidence in the product and in the work we do. It also definitely makes it much easier to stand behind the solutions we represent!

My favorite part is the Solution Engineer role itself and the team I work with. The team is incredibly collaborative and supportive, whether it’s troubleshooting a complex implementation or preparing for a customer presentation, there’s always someone willing to help. Shoutout to the SE team!

I’ve grown significantly in terms of communication and confidence. I’ve had the opportunity to present to large audiences — including sessions with over 500 attendees! (GIDS) — and that experience has strengthened my ability to convey meaning clearly, not just relay technical details. Being able to connect with people, translate complex concepts into practical value, and speak with conviction has been a major area of growth. It’s made possible by representing a strong product that I genuinely believe in.
