Winning Together with Lyndsey Rowzee

First and foremost, the CEO of Apryse, Cassidy Smirnow, stood out to me.  She is a fantastic leader and when talking with her about the current position of the company I was immediately excited about the growth opportunities. I also loved how diverse the workforce is, with team members all over the globe.

Everyone at Apryse is so incredibly friendly. I work in the Denver office, where about 40 employees work throughout the week. But I am lucky to interact with team members from all over the world.  Whether I am connecting with someone in person at the Denver office or over a Zoom call or Slack I feel that warmth and friendliness.  During my first few weeks at Apryse, I was overwhelmed by the kindness I received. Countless people reached out to ask me how my first few weeks were going, and really connect with me on a personal level, even via Slack. Everyone here is so supportive and hardworking.

Win Together is my favorite value. As an Executive Assistant, my job centers around helping others. I love to help others do their job better, and accomplish their goals, so that we win.  This is one of those values that everyone actually embodies.

The diversity! With people all over the globe, it’s given me a chance to interact with people in cultures I had not interacted with before. We have even done “Around the World” Fireside Chats, where we can hear from a group of team members all located in very different parts of the world. It’s so fun to learn about their culture and our differences (and how that makes us stronger, ) but still see how we all come together, focused on the same goals.

I have grown through the many opportunities I’ve been given to try new things.  I was at my previous company for 8 years, so I was excited to start fresh with Apryse. I would say that I am able to run on my own a bit more at Apryse and am given the trust and confidence to execute on projects that are well within my skill set. It has been fun so far!

Apryse supports me in many ways, but as an Executive Assistant, I have gotten a front row view of how Apryse supports all their employees in general. The executive team is always aware of what’s going on in their teams, whether that’s a big win or a loss, professionally or personally. They are there to reach out or provide a thoughtful gesture either way. I see how they actively connect with and support every individual; you can tell they all truly care about their teams.

Just come with a collaborative, humble, and positive attitude. Everyone here wants to work hard and rise together.
